ADHD and neurodivergent
experience audits

1 in 5 people is neurodivergent.

That's 1 in 5 of your potential customers.

Want to know how they experience your products and services, and how to unlock access to this market?

“For the first time ever, I’m working with a coach who fully understands my brain and the way I have to work. With Suzy’s support, I’ve been able to achieve goals that have been in the pipeline for over three years.” - Ebony Newton, Founder, Dotty Black

But... what's an experience audit?

Brains are like fingerprints. Every one unique.

We can identify some similarities and differences in groups of people's brains, though - and we refer to them as 'neurotypical' and 'neurodivergent'.

Neurodivergent people total about 20% of the population, and consist of a wide range of conditions including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, OCD and Tourette's Syndrome.

The Technicolour Project is founded and led by neurodivergent people, and we're committed to helping businesses of all shapes and sizes to embrace making themselves truly open to this market.

Discover how neurodivergent people are experiencing your business, when they try to buy from you, do business with you, or otherwise access your products and services.

As neurodivergent individuals ourselves, we understand the importance of creating environments that support diverse ways of thinking and processing information.

Our audit goes beyond traditional accessibility assessments by focusing specifically on the needs and preferences of individuals with neurodivergence. We employ a holistic approach, evaluating factors such as user experience, cognitive load, sensory input, and task management to provide a comprehensive assessment of your products and services.

Out with the typical. In with the neurodivergent.

Whether you're engaged in commerce, running events, training people, providing services or creating content, tapping in to this underserved and underappreciated market starts with an experience audit to help you:

✅ Better understand how your offerings land with this audience, how to remove barriers to engage whilst following best practice guidance

✅ Take action with recommendations and feedback designed to optimise your business to be user-friendly for neurodivergent people

✅ Stand out as a business that GIVES A SH*T about neurodivergent customers, valuing inclusivity and diversity and really differentiating yourself.

If you have clients, if humans experience your business, then you can benefit from this service.

But... if you just want to 'tick a box' on an inclusivity form somewhere, then we're not the provider for you.

“I immediately felt at ease from the first meeting and felt heard and understood in every session. Suzy is a naturally gifted coach and takes an empathic and individual approach. I very much felt that the work we did was tailored to my needs and not from a template.”

- Jo Child

How it works

1. Initial consultation

We'll start by discussing your business' goals and objectives, understanding your product and service range as well as any work you've already undertaken on inclusivity and accessibility. You can let us know of any specifics you want us to address.

2. Experience assessment

We'll evaluate the experience your customers have, simulating their experience of interacting with you throughout the entire customer lifecycle for the products or services in question. We'll be looking for information and communication cues, active and passive data sharing, looking holistically at all aspects of your service.

3. Detailed report

You'll get a full report outlining our findings, and in true Technicolour fashion, utilising a traffic light system to demonstrate the levels of neurodivergent accessibility we find. We'll include practical recommendations where possible, always staying in our own lane as external consultants, and some tips on prioritisation for maximum impact.

4. Implementation support

We can be on hand to guide you through the process of implementing change, ensuring a seamless transition to a more inclusive approach.

Additional complementary services include:

  • Team familiarisation training

  • Neurodivergent guidebook creation

  • Re-audit to test where the changes have been successful in addressing challenges.
